Images from the IHCF have been used in various
publications, websites, and brochures.

January 21-30, 2005

An image of an aphid was used in a presentation “Controlling aphids with straw and colour,” by Gitta Siekmann of Messeweg Germany, at the International Green Week Conference in Berlin, an agricultural fair open to the  public.

2002

The first edition of “Der Sprössling” SoSe 2002, No.1 “ERSTAUSGABE!” used a cover image of Gattung Chrysopa. The specimen was collected by third grade class of South Beaver  Elementary School, Flagstaff, Arizona.  Imaged by Marilee Sellers. 1999 – Ugly Bug #2.

The publication was published by the students of the Department of Biosciences at the University of Rostock, Germany in the student newspaper, Konstantin Jügelt.

The University of Teesside, Meteor Programme

A project with local school children aged 12, through the Schools and Colleges Liaison program of the University of Teesside, Middlesbrough, England. The program seeks to encourage an interest in science and eventual progression to University education. Michael Poole and David McCauley
