"The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals
with exceptionalities, students with disabilities, and/or the gifted."
The CEC website provides information about, and links to, public policy and legislative issues, CEC's Professional Standards and Code of Ethics, publications and information clearinghouses, events and professional employment opportunities in special education.
This site is useful for educators, administrators, parents and advocates who have an interest in helping students with disabilities succeed in education.
In addition, Northern Arizona University sponsors a student chapter of CEC. For more information, contact:

"TASH is an international association of people with disabilities, their family members, other advocates, and professionals fighting for a society in which
inclusion of all people in all aspects of society is the norm."
The TASH website offers information on public policy, publications and events related to individuals with disabilities, with a focus on equity, opportunity and inclusion.
