Source: Sponsored by the Arizona Chapter of Soil and Water Conservation Society to assist university juniors and seniors in their pursuit of a degree
in a natural resource-related field and assist them to gain practical knowledge regarding land stewardship. The SWCS will also provide scholarship recipients with assistance in obtaining hands-on experience through internships, volunteer programs and employment programs. Source: The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship program is pleased to announce the opening of it's new application cycle. This scholarship is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Institute of International Education. This scholarship seeks to lower barriers to undergraduate study abroad by offering scholarships to students with financial need and encourages students underrepresented in study abroad to apply. The award for semester or academic year study abroad programs are up to $5,000.

Source: Established in honor of Dr. Larry A. Mullins, an NAU alumnus, by the board of directors of Samaritan Health Services, Corvallis, Oregon. Dr. Mullins chairs the selection committee for this scholarship.
Eligibility: Mullins scholarships are available to individuals without regard to race, religion, national origin, gender, age, color, disability, or marital status. Applicants must plan to pursue (or be currently pursuing) an undergraduate or graduate degree in health care administration or a related field, such as public health; be accepted to, or currently enrolled in, Northern Arizona University; special consideration will be given to applicants who are currently employed in the health care field, members or veterans of the U.S. military, and those who are working while attending college. Recipients must be willing to submit a progress report at the mid-point of the following year.
