Plan Options At The Fronske Health Center
The Fronske Health Center is open to all registered NAU students. Fronske Health Center offers a "worry-free" health plan designed to limit the cost of services. We also offer a major medical insurance for students that may need a group health insurance policy. The mandatory health fee is required of all students and is in addition to the optional programs.
Eligible students may choose between:
- Fee for Service: The student is charged $18 per office visit and additional fees for lab, X-Ray and other procedures
- Gold Plan: The student pays $95 per semester and most services provided by Fronske are covered. This plan ensures easy access to health care by eliminating copays, deductibles, filing claims and other hassles with your insurance carrier
- Major Medical Insurance: The Student Insurance is a group health insurance product offered by all three State universities. The insurance is designed to provide group coverage to students who are uninsured, need a less expensive alternative, or need an Arizona provider network. If a student selects this option, primary care is covered at Fronske with only a $10 co-pay for each office visit, lab or x-ray.
