In keeping with the protocol of the Gateway Student Success Center (GSSC), appointments with GSSC Staff are self-initiated by students.
For this reason we request that meeting with a GSSC Staff member not be required for a grade or extra credit for any class. However, the GSSC would be happy to provide the following:
- Pre/Post Presentations to include: Resume/job search guidelines; information regarding the GSSC website; handouts and materials available for faculty
- Faculty Training to include: Conducting faculty led review or faculty guided peer review for resume building/critique and mock interviews
- Information and Guidelines for Faculty to include: guidelines and information to set up and conduct group mock interviews
If after following this process your students wish to have their developed materials reviewed during a self-initiated appointment, we welcome them to do so.
