Vision Statement

Seniors are a valued and respected part of our communities and are assets to be embraced for their knowledge, wisdom, time, energy, skills, diversity, leadership and life experiences. Learning to work with seniors through internship gives students the experience they need in the workforce.

Our Mission Statement

To value and promote:

  • Service programs which utilize seniors as assets to the community in which we serve.
  • Gerontology education through internships, graduate assistantships and research
  • Public education through academically based conferences and workshops on aging
  • Program partnerships to maximize staff and funding resources.
