The
Northern Arizona Regional Gerontology Institute was established in
1986 at Northern Arizona University (NAU) and has since brought forth
a variety of volunteer programs aimed to encourage senior community
participation and involvement. These programs specialize in different
areas, thus reflecting the unique interest of the volunteering senior
and giving him/her the opportunity to give back to the community.
Programs include:
- Senior Companion Program
- Foster Grandparent Program
- Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
- Flagstaff Association for Lifelong Learning
