SYMPOSIA

In the Spring of 2003, the Honors Program launched the Honors Freshman Symposium.  Core Curriculum students took papers they had written for 190 & 191 and submitted proposals,  attended revision workshops, and presented their papers to peers, faculty, and family at the conference.  The symposium was so successful that, in addition to the Spring Freshman Symposium, the Honors Program has established a second conference, to be held in the Fall, for continuing Honors students to showcase their academic work and for local high school students to see what the

NAU Honors Program has to offer.

The following link provides all of the information you need to participate in the Fall Honors Symposium.  We expect all Honors Core Curriculum students to participate in this fall conference.

The following program from the Spring 2003 conference attests to the hard work and scholarly pursuits of our Core Curriculum students.  Talk with your 190/191 instructor for more information about participating in the Honors Symposia  or contact Honors Associate Director Anne Scott at  Anne.Scott@nau.edu.
