ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP FOR PUBLIC ARCHAEOLOGY

Since 1997, the Partnership for Public Archaeology (PPA) has sought regional, state, national, and international leadership in public archaeology and education. Our primary goal is to create, implement, and disseminate public archaeology education programs using a spiral education model. Working in partnership with archaeological researchers and educators, this model introduces and continually builds an understanding of archaeological concepts, theories, and methods for preschoolers through adult learners. The Partnership is jointly administered through Northern Arizona University's Department of Anthropology and the Science and Mathematics Learning Center.
