AZTEC Lab - Lab Services
The AZTEC Lab provides many convenient services to assist faculty and
departments.
Services are provided to on-campus organizations, faculty,
and staff at reduced or no charge. All services are
also available to outside organizations for reasonable fees.

Description of Services
The lab is equipped with eight Dell computers, a flat bed scanner, a 35-mm slide scanner,
digital cameras, presentation equipment, a teaching station with rear-projection
SMART board, and more. We provide limited assistance to faculty and staff
using lab technologies. Limited equipment is available to check-out for
University presentations (see below).
Software loaded on lab computers includes Microsoft Office (with FrontPage),
Adobe Acrobat (full version for creating PDF files), Explorer, Netscape,
Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash.
You can check-out one of our digital cameras that use 3 1/2" floppy disks to
store images in a JPEG format. Just pop the disk into the computer
and import the pictures to your Word file, PowerPoint presentation, or
web page!
Create color handouts, reports, or transparencies. We can even
help you scan an image (from a book, magazine, etc.) and create a transparency.
Print out pictures, maps, and materials from the web in high resolution
color. Provide us with Microsoft Office files via disk or email attachment
and we'll do the printing for you!
For services with fees, our fees are very competitive
and we can even process IDB's for payment!

Equipment Check-Out
Only available for benefit eligible employees. Equipment can be reserved
10 business days in advance. Contact Charlene Wingo at 523-2208 to
reserve.

- Computer Projector, $25 for 1/2 day and $50 for full-day
Rent the Lab!
The lab can be rented to conduct your own training sessions! Prices vary
depending upon whether you are on-campus, non-profit, or profit but range from
$25 - $100 / hour. Our lab includes eight workstations, one teaching
station connected to a rear-projection SMART board, color printer, and
more. We can even install software for your training. Call us for details!
