Download the PBS-CARES scholarship application to complete and return. Be sure to include all required documents described in the instructions.

Apply Online to the NAU Graduate College by going to http://home.nau.edu/gradcol.

Select "Apply Now" which will take you to http://home.nau.edu/gradcol/apply.asp.

Choose "To apply online: click here." Follow the Three-step online application process. For Method of Search, choose “Program” and Special Education - Severe/Profound Certified - Master of Education. Your Choice is available on the Flagstaff Mountain Campus only (although most classes are available online or in satellite locations. Be sure to save your work as you complete the application
After the College of Education receives notice of your application to the Graduate College, you will then receive one final paper application to complete and return to COE (M.Ed. in Special Education with Certification). The application is available on the College of Education (COE) web site (http://coe.nau.edu/academics/esp/) in the upper right hand corner. It is titled Graduate Program Application - MEd in Special Education with Certification. Please complete this application and return it to their office (COE).

When to Apply
In order to register for graduate courses you must be accepted as either a NAU non-degree graduate student. Registration for new students typically begins about three months prior to the fall term and about six weeks prior to the spring term (see http://home.nau.edu/registrar/). You must register as early as you can before classes fill up.

When to Begin
You may begin your program of studies in either the fall or spring terms. No introductory courses are available in summer.
