Charles G. Moore dies

Charles G. Moore, an NAU mathematics professor for 32 years, died Nov. 9, 2007. He was 80.

The Arizona Water Institute is providing $550,000 for 12 sustainability projects that involve at least two of Arizona's three state universities.

School of Forestry ranks high
in faculty productivity

NAU's program is ranked No. 10 among forestry programs nationally in an index measuring faculty scholarly output.

Submit IRB applications online
All applications for research involving humans as the subjects of a study will now be submitted through a new online system on the Institutional Review Board web site.


NAU Army ROTC named region's
Best Large Program

NAU's ROTC program, which has grown from fewer than 30 cadets seven years ago to the 80 cadets currently enrolled, was selected over programs in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah.

Flexible spending enrollment ends Nov. 30
Benefit-eligible employees have until Friday to enroll in a Flexible Spending Account for the 2008 calendar year.
