The university will be closed Wednesday, July 4, in observance of the United States' 231st birthday, but is operating on normal summer business hours the rest of this week.

dies at 43
A respected and admired musician and professor, Dr. Sullivan joined the NAU faculty in 1994. He died June 27.

Long-time math professor dies
Allan B. Gray Jr., who taught mathematics at NAU for 30 years, died June 29, 2007, in Flagstaff. He was 76.
