moving to business faculty
NAU’s vice president for Administration and Finance has resigned her position to join NAU’s business faculty and will transition into her new position beginning in mid-December.

Meet the author
of 'Artist's Proof'
Sarah Lander Marks, the author of Artist’s Proof, will be coming to the Martin Springer Institute at 1 p.m. Nov 14. Her book presents a unique perspective about the impact of the mass theft and destruction of the arts by the Nazis during World War II. The Martin Springer Institute is in the Riles Building, number 15.
Race and ethnic issues discussed
The Commission on Ethnic Diversity invites NAU students, faculty and staff to attend a discussion on campus climate regarding race and ethnic issues from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, in Cline Library room 200.
'No Guts No Love' booksigning
Burt Gershater, NAU alum, local author and family counselor, will sign copies of his book No Guts No Love at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the NAU Bookstore. Prior to the signing, he will do a reading by the fireplace at 3:30 p.m.
NAUPD accreditation
The Commission on the Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies assessor team will hold a public information session at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, in the Fremont room at the du Bois Center. This is part of the commission’s 2008 on-site assessment. This session provides the public an opportunity to comment on the quality of public safety services provided by the NAU Police Department.

Former NAU team physician dies
