Richard Holmes Hevly, a botany professor at NAU for 33 years, died Oct. 31, 2008. He was 74.

Gloria A. Henderson, a longtime administrative assistant to NAU President J. Lawrence Walkup, died Nov. 3, 2008. She was 86.
