NAU construction project to create 2,500 jobs, generate $7.3 million in
tax revenue

Construction crews began razing Lumberjack Stadium on Tuesday as part of a project that will create about 2,500 jobs and generate more than $7.3 million in city and state tax revenue. The project includes the building of the Health and Learning Center and a new Lumberjack Stadium.

The Arizona Board or Regents has formally opposed midyear FY 10 budget cuts for the state university system.
