Golden Key names three honorary members

Three full-time faculty and staff from the Honors Program have been invited to join the Golden Key International Honor Society as honorary members.

Bruce Fox, director, Lynn Gardner (full-time lecturer) and Glenn Hansen (program coordinator, Sr.) are recognized for their contributions to student academic achievement, scholarship and service.

"Our students are so outstanding, it's a joy to work with them," Gardner said. Gardner teaches the freshman seminar and several other honors courses.

Golden Key recognizes and encourages scholastic achievement and excellence among college and university students from all academic disciplines.

Honorary members, elected by local Golden Key chapters, are individuals who are active on campus or in the community. Honorary members reflect the qualities and values of Golden Key Members and are active in areas of scholarship, leadership or service.
