Make sure student workers get paid

Downtime for LOUIE Online means payroll will be run early for the pay date of Oct. 27 (pay period Oct. 9 through Oct. 22).

All hourly employees' time—including student workers—for that pay period must be finalized no later than the morning of Monday, Oct. 16. For information, see http://hr.nau.edu/m/content/view/725/280/

LOUIE upgrade forces shutdown
but some services available

LOUIE Online will be unavailable from Oct. 18 through 6 a.m. Oct. 23 as the system is updated with the latest features from Oracle/PeopleSoft.

During the downtime, processing of student and employee record activity will be suspended until the upgraded system is available.

Human Resources, Payroll, Admissions, Registrar, Distance Learning, Financial Aid and the Bursar's Office will have restricted access to data that reflects activity as of end of day Oct. 17.

Although LOUIE Online will be unavailable for five days, processing offices will be able to provide essential services to students, applicants and staff members.

The following services will be available during the downtime:

  • Online inquiry and admissions applications:
    Prospective students will be able to request information and apply for admission.
  • Reporting through Business Objects and PS Query:
    Reports will reflect activity through Oct. 17. The data will be refreshed when the upgrade is completed.
  • Advantage Financial system:
    Advantage will be available during the downtime; however, data feeds from the LOUIE system will be suspended.
  • Vista Course Management System:
    Vista will be available during the downtime; however, data feeds from the LOUIE system will be suspended.
  • MyNAU:
    MyNAU will be available; however, the LOUIE channel will be unavailable during upgrade window.

The LOUIE Online support team will be standing by Oct. 23 to resolve any problems that may arise. The quickest and easiest way to report problems and to receive support will be to contact the ITS support centers:
