Basketball begins! Join the party

Lumberjack basketball fans have a chance to join two parties next week while NAU takes on some in-state rivals.

On Monday, Nov. 13, fans, parents and alumni in Tempe are invited to gather for free appetizers prior to the NAU-ASU game. The get-together will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Gordon Biersch, 420 S. Mill Ave. Game time is 8 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe.

On Wednesday, Nov. 15, fans can meet for drink and appetizer specials and watch NAU play the UofA Wildcats in Tucson.

The party starts a 7 p.m. (tip off is at 7:30) at Jotini's on the Green (located in Continental Country Club), 2380 N. Oakmont Drive.
