Health Psychology Center accepting clients NAU's Health Psychology Center is now accepting new clients for education, evaluation and treatment of a variety of conditions, including anxiety, stress and stress-related problems, cancer, chronic pain, high blood pressure, management of diabetes and other health problems. The service is offered to the community as well as to NAU faculty and staff. Other conditions clients may be seen for include circulatory problems, asthma, headaches, emphysema, sleep problems, gastrointestinal problems, smoking cessation, post-operative and recovery, weight loss, arthritic pain, skin problems, PMS, and risk factors in heart disease. The clinic is open to the public and offers biofeedback, hypnosis, lifestyle behavior change and wellness skills, stress management and cognitive behavioral therapy. The Health Psychology Center at NAU is open Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The clinic offers a sliding fee scale. Contact: (928) 523-2161. |
