Gold Axe applications due March 9 The Office of Student Life is asking faculty and staff mentors to encourage outstanding graduating seniors to apply for the Gold Axe Award by March 9 at 5 p.m. The Gold Axe Award is presented each semester to seniors who have made outstanding contributions to the university in academic performance, service and extracurricular activities. "Because it is such a prestigious and highly recognized award, most recipients list this honor on their resume throughout their professional career," said Kevin Gemoets in the Office of Student Life. Applications can be downloaded here. Students who receive the Gold Axe Award will be honored at a reception on April 18. |
