Pay increase to take effect March 11

A pay increase for state employees that was approved by the Legislature and signed by the governor will take effect March 11.

Eligible NAU employees will see the full 10 days of the $1,650 across-the-board pay raise on their March 31 paycheck.

The increase provides a $1,650 annual raise for all state employees, including eligible university employees. The amount will be prorated for eligible part-time employees.

"Eligible" employees include all regular NAU faculty, service professionals and classified staff.

A pool of funds for optional performance pay increases will also be allocated to the university effective March 11. The university will submit an implementation plan for this salary pool at the Arizona Board of Regents meeting in March.
