NAU Art Museum to feature
renowned glass artists

Two world-renowned glass artists from Prescott will be featured at the NAU Art Museum beginning this month.

Stained-glass artist Jeff Worob and Bandhu S. Dunham, a blown-glass artist, will have their work on display in an exhibit scheduled to open Aug 11 with a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. in Old Main on the Northern Arizona University campus.

The exhibit will run through Sept. 20.

Worob has been designing and installing stained-glass windows since 1972. He has shown all over the country and was asked to design two glass windows by the Disney Co. He has also been featured in Glass Art Magazine and written several articles for McCall's Craft Magazine.

Dunham began to teach himself lamp-work technique in 1975. As an undergraduate at Princeton, he received informal training from the university's glassblower before completing his apprenticeship under American and European masters at Urban Glass, the Pilchuck Glass School and the Penland School of Crafts. He is the owner of Salusa Glassworks Inc. in Prescott.

The NAU Art Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. The museum also features a unique store featuring local glass artists. For information call (928) 523-3471 or visit www.nau.edu/art_museum.
