Senior Corps hosts 'Bubbles & Bids' fund-raiser

The Senior Corps of Northern and Central Arizona, part of NAU's Gerontology Institute, will hold its annual Bubbles & Bids fund-raiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Radisson Woodlands Hotel in Flagstaff. The event helps reimburse program volunteers for expenses they incur while volunteering.

The 17th annual Bubbles & Bids event features live music, hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine, Vegas-style casino gaming and a silent auction with more than 125 items for bid, including a Grand Canyon river trip, Michael Carbajal autographed boxing gloves, resort stays and a variety of gift certificates.

Tickets are $25, with a $5 discount to NAU faculty and students, Coconino Community College faculty and students, and senior citizens (55 or older).
