Annual Axer Auction benefits athletics scholarships

Friends of Northern Arizona University Athletics will have a chance to bid on a variety of items during the annual Axer Auction beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, in the du Bois Center Ballroom.

The evening will feature live and silent auctions, a raffle, beverages by Golden Eagle Distributors and dinner by Outback Steakhouse.

Items to bid on include golf packages at some of Arizona's finest golf courses, hotel and restaurant gift certificates, sports memorabilia and four tickets to the 2008 Fiesta Bowl, among others.

All proceeds from the event benefit NAU athletic scholarships.
