NAU Art Museum shows range

The NAU Art Museum presents two new exhibits, "Mythical Object Redux" and "Threshold."

"Mythical Object Redux" features oil paintings and hand-pulled prints by Brian Hoover, along with wood-fired ceramic vessels by Susan Harris.

"Threshold," an installation by Marlene Alt, uses mass-produced multiple forms to produce a landscape symbolizing human desires.

The exhibits open with a reception from 7-9 p.m. Nov. 2 and will run through Dec. 15.

The NAU Art Museum is open from 10 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays. The museum also features a unique store featuring local artists. For information, call (928) 523-3471.
