Human Resources is offering a series of upcoming workshops involving ways of evaluating and dealing with various situations:

Critical Thinking Skills
8 a.m. - noon Nov. 7
This workshop offers tools to help participants assess situations and evaluate decisions in efficient and effective ways.

A Culture of Critical Thinking
1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Nov. 7
A follow-up for supervisors or managers, this session will build on the morning session and demonstrate ways to foster a culture of critical thinking among team members.

Difficult Conversations
8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Nov. 13
This interactive session will provide tools to more successfully prepare for and have difficult conversations when a gap exists between what is happening and what should be happening.

Progressive Discipline
8:30 - 10:30 a.m. Nov. 27
This session covers the NAU procedure for addressing poor performance and the role of the supervisor and HR in the process.
