12 News in Phoenix has partnered with Northern Arizona University's Grand Canyon Semester to produce a series of reports on the Canyon.

The first in the series will focus on the Canyon's archaeology and will air during the 10 p.m. news Sunday, Nov. 18, on KPNX-TV (Channel 12).

The second report is on the emotional impact of the Canyon and will air Thanksgiving weekend. The specific time has not been determined.

Others include a report on geology, featuring a rugged hike, during the 10 p.m. news on Tuesday, Nov. 26, and Canyon management at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27.

NAU faculty and students are featured in some of the reports.
