Shopping for a Santa cause Stuff your family's stockings with handmade arts and crafts from the annual Mountain Campus Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair to benefit United Way of Northern Arizona on Nov. 16 and 17 at the NAU Fieldhouse. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for students and free for children under 12. All admission fees and space rentals go to support the United Way. The fair runs from noon - 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Saturday. The Mountain Campus Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair features live holiday music, Santa on Saturday afternoon and 87 booths filled with items made by local and regional artists. An array of unique merchandise awaits visitors, including fine arts, hand-made clothes, country crafts, holiday crafts, wood art and furniture, stained and fused glass, quilts, jewelry, candles, natural products, dolls and food. This is the seventh year for the fair, which in 2006 earned $14,000 for United Way. This year's booth sales have already raised about $10,000 for the annual fundraising campaign.
