Dick Patton retiring

Dick Patton, director of Dining Services for NAU and food service contract liaison for the university, is retiring from NAU after 20 years.

A reception in his honor is scheduled from 2-4 p.m. Jan. 8 in the University Union Havasupai rooms.

Patton was hired in 1987, and he has since helped to grow the department's annual gross sales from $3.5 million to more than $17 million. He also has negotiated three food service contracts on behalf of the university.

Prior to joining NAU, Patton was the general manager for Professional Food Management, which was the university's food service contractor at the time.
