NAU exceeds United Way goal The 2007 NAU United Way Campaign has surpassed its $100,000 goal. "This is a reflection of how hard everyone worked on this campaign," noted Molly Munger, director of community relations and NAU campaign liaison. More than 400 faculty, staff and administrators donated to the campaign, aimed at improving lives by creating lasting changes in community conditions. Lou Arminio and Albert Sandoval from Information Technology Services served as co-chairs of the President's NAU United Way Council. "One hundred percent of our contributions stay in northern Arizona," Munger said, adding that the funds go directly toward local agencies that work to bridge the education gap, break the cycle of poverty, and help families and individuals in times of need and crisis. |
