Health Psychology Center accepting clients NAU's Health Psychology Center is accepting new clients for education, evaluation and treatment of a variety of conditions, including anxiety, stress-related health problems, cancer, chronic pain, high blood pressure, management of diabetes and other health problems. The service is offered to the community as well as to NAU faculty and staff. Other conditions clients may be seen for include phobias, circulatory problems, asthma, headaches, emphysema, sleep problems, gastrointestinal problems, smoking cessation, post-operative and recovery, weight loss, arthritic pain, skin problems, PMS and risk factors in heart disease. The center offers stress management, cognitive behavioral therapy, lifestyle behavior change, wellness skills, biofeedback and hypnosis, and is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The clinic offers a sliding fee scale.
