Building for the future A prominent construction company, Layton Construction, recently donated a trailer to help NAU's Construction Management build its capacity for off-campus projects. "This is a very valuable donation for NAU because we'll be able to use the trailer on a variety of student extra-curricular activities and community service projects," said Tom Rogers, chair of Construction Management at NAU. Layton Construction chose to partner with NAU, "because of its high-quality programs and contributions to the industry in developing well-qualified graduates," said Dave McClurg, Layton's vice president of operations. "NAU has proven itself to be a school of prominence with enduring values and a faculty that is vested in their students' long-term success." The 6- by 12-foot enclosed cargo trailer is valued at $3,600. |
