Blackhawks land at NAU

A small crowd gathered at NAU's Hilltop Field last week to watch about 20 NAU ROTC students load into two Army Blackhawk helicopters last week as part of a field training exercise.

The helicopters touched down at NAU's Hilltop Field on April 12, whisking away the students to Camp Navajo, where they joined fellow cadets from Arizona State University, University of Arizona, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott Campus for training.

"That was incredibly cool," said Bruce Bryant, textbook manager at the NAU Bookstore, who stopped by to watch the landing.
