Campus unites to honor
Virginia Tech victims

An estimated 700 NAU students, faculty and staff gathered last week for a candlelight vigil to honor their peers at Virginia Tech, following a mass shooting there.

During the event, organized by Campus Ministries and the Associated Students of NAU, the names of the victims were read out loud, followed by a minute of silence for each.

"We need to gather as a community and show support for people who feel isolated in mourning," said Pastor Dave Hahn.

Inside NAU the television show will have coverage from the vigil in its upcoming episode, which can be viewed online on Friday.
