  Sam Minkler, associate professor of photography in the School of Communication, was the photographer for the 15th annual First Americans in the Arts awards presentation on April 14 at the Beverly Hills Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.
  
  The event, touted as the Academy Awards for Native American Indians, honored Native American Indians for their outstanding performances in motion pictures, primetime television, theater and music in 2006.
• Richard Quartaroli, Cline Library special collections librarian, had a review of The Colorado Plateau II: Biophysical, Socioeconomic, and Cultural Resource, edited by NAU's Charles Van Riper III and David J. Mattson, published in the spring 2007 issue of The Journal of Arizona History.
