Campus camps promise Young people have a lot to pick from when it comes to summer camps on campus. Forester academies teach kids and families about the natural world. A Child Enrichment program for younger residents features play, nutrition, and arts and crafts designed to keep them on a journey of discovery. NAU's Wild Ventures camps offer experiences that prepare children for the great outdoors. Kids looking to make a splash can sign up for Dolphin Day Camp, featuring swimming and water safety. Kids looking to make a sound can sign up for Music Camp. Originated in 1950, NAU's Music Camp is now experiencing some third-generation campers. Speech and Hearing camp is for youngsters who need a reading boost. Sporting camps abound with a camp for both women's and men's basketball, NAU Peak Performance Soccer Camps, football and volleyball camps, a Northern Arizona Track and Field Summer Camp, a High Altitude Training Camp, a High Altitude Distance Camp, High Intensity Speed Development Camp or the High Intensity Throws Camp.
