Injured student scheduled to return home The 20-year-old forestry student who was seriously injured in New Zealand earlier this month is recovering and is scheduled to be released from the Health Center at Lincoln University in Christchurch. Michael Gavillot, who was in New Zealand as part of an NAU Study Abroad program, was injured in a fall on a glacier in Mount Aspiring National Park. An Idaho State University student was killed and another Idaho State student was injured in the same accident. Gavillot is scheduled to be released from the hospital soon and return to his home in the Phoenix area, according to the health center director.
