Benefits enrollment begins; all employees required to re-enroll

NAU's Benefits Open Enrollment has begun, and because of new options available this year, all benefit-eligible employees must re-enroll or their health, dental or vision insurance will end Sept. 30.

Open Enrollment ends at 11 p.m. Sept. 10 with changes effective Oct. 1.

Employees will be offered an additional level of health insurance coverage this year, including:

  • Employee only
  • Employee plus one dependent (either a spouse or a dependent child)
  • Family coverage (Employee plus spouse and/or children)

Employees can enroll online through LOUIE by using the Benefits Enrollment link of the self-service page.

Human Resources will provide several open enrollment information sessions to highlight information and answer employee questions. A number of the sessions will be open lab times with computers available and staff to assist employees with enrollment. The schedule is available online.

HR also will host the annual Benefits EXPO from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, in the du Bois Center Ballroom. This year's EXPO will feature:

  • All NAU and State of Arizona insurance vendors
  • Benefits enrollment assistance
  • Arizona State Retirement System representatives
  • Optional retirement vendors (AIG VALIC, Fidelity and TIAA-CREF)
