Parking Services announces new policies

A few things have changed at Parking Services for the 2007-08 academic year.

The grace period for not displaying a current permit/pass or parking out of zone has changed from two weeks to one week. Beginning Sept. 3, vehicles without a current permit/pass or that are parked in the incorrect zone will be cited.

Also, parking in the new garage on the corner of Riordan and Knoles (96A) requires a garage permit.

The citation fee for an unregistered vehicle is $60 and a zone violation is $30.

All other violations, such as parking in handicap or service spaces or within fire lanes, will be cited the first week of school.
