• Laura Umphrey, assistant professor in the School of Communication, recently had her article "Relational Commitment and Threats to Relationship Maintenance Goals: Influences on Condom Use," published in the Journal of American College Health (vol. 56, no. 1).
• The late Martha Portree of Cline Library, together with fellow Cline librarians Tina Adams, John J. Doherty and R. Sean Evans, have had their article, "Overcoming Transactional Distance: Instructional Intent in an Email Reference Service," accepted for publication by Reference and User Services Quarterly, the official journal of the Reference and User Services Association of the American Library Association. Portree had completed her contributions to the article just days before her death. Her co-authors are dedicating the article to her memory.
