Town hall report leads to health care discussion The dean of the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix will discuss "The Future of Health Care in Arizona" during the Shirley Agnos Arizona Town Hall Lecture Series, partly sponsored by Northern Arizona University. Edward Shortliffe will speak from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the College of Medicine campus, building 2, 600 E. Van Buren St., Phoenix. The talk will be preceded from 2 to 3 p.m. by a roundtable discussion on "Improving Health Care in Arizona," featuring Betsey Bayless, executive director of the Maricopa County Special Health Care District; Tim Bee, president of the Arizona Senate; January Contreras, the governor's policy adviser for health; and Sandy Gibson, senior vice president of Blue Cross Blue Shield.
