Lumberjacks travel to Appalachian State

The Lumberjacks take on another tough opponent this week when the football squad travels to North Carolina Saturday, Sept. 15, to take on Appalachian State, the No. 1-ranked team in the Football Championship Subdivision, formerly Division I-AA.

The 2-0 Mountaineers are only two and a half weeks from defeating Big 10 powerhouse Michigan in front of 109,000 fans in Ann Arbor.

The game will be broadcast live on KAFF (AM 930) from Kidd Brewer Stadium beginning at 12:30 p.m. with Mitch Strohman and Travis Brown calling the action.
