Roberta Kelly leaving Yuma for North Carolina Roberta Kelly, director of operations at NAU-Yuma, is leaving her position at the end of the spring semester. Kelly, who has served at NAU-Yuma since November 1992, including a stint as interim executive director in 2006, is leaving to become associate registrar for enrollment at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. "I appreciate the opportunities and mentors provided to me through my work at NAU," Kelly said. "While I will miss the many good friends I have made, I am also excited about the opportunity that awaits me." Kelly has worked in various roles at NAU-Yuma, including financial aid counselor, academic adviser, assistant director and associate director for student services. In 2006, she won a President's Achievement Award, considered the highest staff recognition from the university. A going-away celebration is planned for after NAU-Yuma's commencement ceremony May 16. |
