High Altitude athletes mine for medal in Beijing

Athletes who trained at NAU's Center for High Altitude Training won 22 Olympic medals during the 2008 Games in Beijing, for a total of 213 medals dating back to the 1996 Games in Atlanta.

Athletes from eight countries won seven gold, five silver and 10 bronze medals in Beijing.
