NAUPD reminds drivers to
follow posted traffic changes

Construction around the new Health and Learning Center on north campus is continuing, and police are asking students, faculty and staff to follow posted traffic changes in the area.

NAUPD soon will begin ticketing drivers who ignore the posted signage, specifically at the opening to lot 19, otherwise known as McCreary eastbound from Beaver streets. This area is closed to all eastbound traffic except emergency vehicles, and all others may be cited.

On Thursday, nearly 80 drivers were stopped and warned during a one-hour period for violating the changes.
