Award people who make a difference

Four of NAU’s commissions are on the lookout to award individuals and groups who demonstrate actions associated with their goals.

The following commissions are accepting applications for their annual awards:

Only NAU faculty, staff, and students may make nominations. Winners must have engaged in one or more activities that promote full and equal access for individual with disabilities at NAU; promote a campus climate that values individuals with disabilities; support career and professional development opportunities for individuals with disabilities, and/or educate the campus on disability issues that affect university policy, practices and programs. The nomination deadline is March 6.

Commission for Native Americans
Individual awards from this commission will go to faculty, staff and student clubs. Nominations should explain how the performance, commitment and involvement of an individual or group has supported Native American students and/or programs.
