Poets speak up The talents of creative writing students and Television Services merge in an NAU-produced Spoken Word documentary to be premiered at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, in the Cline Library Assembly Hall. The film features poems written by Shannon Stack, Rodney Aly Grace, Channing Anderson, Randolph Brooks, Brian Malnes and Rollie Rathburn. The documentary premiere will be followed by a panel discussion led by producer and Creative Writing program coordinator Nicole Walker. Poem topics range from drug addiction to molestation and may be inappropriate for children. Created by Emmy Award-winning director Jesse Vaughan, head of production for Television Services, along with electronic media and film students Cedric Owens and Vern Richardson, the documentary is slated for broadcast debut at 8 p.m. Friday, April 24, on Flagstaff channels 4 and 59 and Dish Network channel 9411.
