President schedules campus forum

NAU President John Haeger has scheduled a university-wide forum to discuss
a variety of issues facing Northern Arizona University and higher education.

The forum, titled “Moving Forward as a University Community,” is scheduled to begin at
3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the High Country Conference Center. A reception is scheduled following the president's presentation where guests can network with NAU administrators, colleagues and community members.

Haeger will discuss recent achievements, the economy and the FY10 budget, changes in the university system, investing in the programs and people of NAU and the challenges the university faces. A question-and-answer session will follow.

The forum will be webcast, and web participants may e-mail their questions to Inside@nau.edu.

Take a road trip without leaving campus
Designed to take people on a visual journey of the historic highway, Cline Library's "Route 66 in Arizona: Don't Forget Winona!" exhibit brings together vintage photography, postcards, maps, signs, old car parts and a chunk of Route 66 asphalt, to bring the "Mother Road" to life.
