The Flagstaff Film Festival will feature a short documentary, The Art of Cher Lyn: A Healing Journey, by Kurt Lancaster, assistant professor in the School of Communication. The screening is at 3 p.m., Friday, Aug. 13, at the Orpheum Theater in Flagstaff. For information, visit flagstafffilmfestival.org.
- Cowboys and Indians magazine published photography by Sam Minkler, associate professor in the School of Communication, in its September issue. Minkler’s photograph accompanies “Hoop Dancing,” which was written about Cirque du Soliel performer and world champion hoop dancer Nakotah LaRance.
